Mio (who has one of the cutest voice and accent I've ever heard) folded a bunch of these for us for <3-day. :D A part of me wants to take it apart to find out how to fold it...XD;;; But it won't look as nice after I put it back. T_T;; And yes, that's my whiteboard.

To celebrate Valentine's Day the Calgary Zoo way:
"In the Heat of the Night
Friday, February 13 & Saturday, February 14th, 6pm to 10:30pm

Spend a unique Valentine's Day at the Calgary Zoo. Enjoy a gourmet meal and then hear about the fascinating sex lives of animals with our fun and informative Zoo staff."

That's RIGHT! Spend your Valentine's with your loved one (or meet up with someone new) discussing sex lives of animals! Just imagine if you met your future spouse at this event. You can say to your kids, "Your mother/father and I met while discussing how [insert animal] are just SO [insert description] when mating...ahh, the memories."
How incredibly romantic! :D You can have all sorts of great conversations about the sex life the steak you're eating had while it was alive. And not chopped up.
Too bad I'm not old enough, it sounds fun.

Instead, I shall spend my Valentine's Day on a hothothot date with my textbooks.
No one-night stands, I'll be developing a long (and probably painful) relationship with these boys...until June comes, then I can dump them. >_> Hm. Not that long, nevermind. :D
So many people have dates. T____T I don't personally care whether or not I have a date, but...them having dates means that I have less people to talk to....T_T

Had a group piano session today (my first time; it was interesting, but a bit slow). Somehow, the topic went from being musically-related to...uh...alcohol-related....XD I'm not sure how we started talking about how wines from different countries compare, the aging of wine, etc etc etc. XD;;;;;;
Hahaha, it's all good.

Essay recommended length: 1000 words.
My first paragraph alone: 1,381 words (those "specific historical evidence that supports and critiques" take up a lot of words).
Ahaha. =_= haha. =_= =_= =_=
Oh well, the teacher's pretty lenient about these things. Besides, I've talked to my friends, and we all agree that it's impossible to write a good essay on the topic while sticking to the recommended length...(haha, Edith ended up with three thousand some words.)

I suddenly develop this urge to make cupcakes.
So Barbie and Ken break up. Ouch, right before Valentine's. :B At least it'll be easier on Ken's wallet.
...During dinner today, my mother came up behind me and grabbed the back of my neck. "You're so fat now! You have neck flab! You'll never be skinny again!"
Me: ". . . . . .what? T_T"

Will probably continue to be camera-happy for quite some time, too. Be glad I haven't decided to post all the pictures Edith took of her birds (saying there's a LOT is an understatement). XD

This is Nose Hill. It's named so because it supposedly looks like a nose.
It was nominated as one of the most romantic places to go for Valentine's Day or something like that.
No matter how I look at it, it does not appeal to me romantically. At all. Well...it offers a pretty nice cityview at night, but romantic...? >_>;;; Hm. I guess it's pretty romantic at night when you can't see much in the dark. >_>; In daylight, it's about as romantic as a public washroom.
Okay, I'm being unfair. It's just especially unromantic in the winter when everything's dead. It makes for a pretty nice, romantic hike during summer or autumn.

Ahhh, green tea-flavoured iced tea. This one's with honey.
Just wanted to state that the green tea-flavoured one WITHOUT honey is vastly superior to the one WITH honey. The one without honey is very good. The one with honey tastes kinda gross after awhile.
*ran over by all those who disagree*

To prove how bored we are during lunch (and no, we don't particularly feel like studying during that time):

It was too hard to form Chinese words with pretzels, so we went Japanese. I later fixed (read: bit off some of the pretzel) the first "i" so that it doesn't look so demented.
The other two: uhh....XD *shrugs*

Taken by the bus stop in front of my school. Was bored and waiting for the bus, which was laaaaaaate. =_=

Too faaaaaast for you! >:D

I'm really not all that fond of Hong Kong. I don't really care about it. I like China even less.
My parents/relatives are desperate for me to go back ASAP just so I'll love it and be the good Chinese girl I am once again. :P My aunt just talked my ear off on the phone about how I should go back and work there, how it's so much better than Canada, etc etc etc etc etc....
I "uh-huh" and made other interesting noises throughout the conversation, only saying semi-intelligible sentences while trying to stick up for Canada.
I may have grown up in Canada, but that doesn't mean they can treat me like an idiot who "doesn't know what life is really like".
Maybe I'll major in History just to spite them. (haha, no. I'd get killed XD)
