Dear Katy Perry, your version of Black & Gold sucks. No offence, but it's true. [/Ja'mie King]
Speaking of: oh, Summer Heights High, I forgot how you love using the music of Nikki Webster and Stephanie McIntosh. And how I end up speaking like Ja'mie if I watch the whole series in two days. Like, I'm totally serious.
Who watched Spicks & Specks this week? Geoffrey Rush doing his Spice Girls deodorant ad: "Got BO? Stop right now, thank you very much!" BRILLIANT. And The Wiggles doing a U2 song! Only on this show, yo.
LOLOL.
Australia, The Movie Trailer, starring K-Rudd and Wayne Swan. Oh dear lord, I'm dying. "No! Swannyyyy!"
This is the most hysterical article ever. Read it. (The follow up is

How gorgeous does Tina look in this picture? (Very, FYI.)
YAY TV, THAT THING WE ALL LOVE. If you know the quote, then you've probably watched it.
30 Rock, 3x03 "The One With The Cast of Night Court"
1. I'll agree with everyone else: I didn't like it as much as the other two. But with this show being as it is, even a less-than-perfect episode is still the highlight of my TV schedule. It was mainly due to the fact that I know next to nothing about Night Court, so that subplot was kind of lost on me - having said that, if it was a show I liked I'd be mad for this episode. Because, really? Bringing cast members of an old show back together is pretty epic.
2. KENNETH IS THE ULTIMATE FANBOY. And he shipped the two Night Court characters so hard. Yo Tina, this is how we act. We squeal and jump around giddily. I'm just saying.
3. Tracy and his glasses are my new OTP. They can have a three-way with some cornbread. Speaking of three-ways... no, wait, I'll get to that later. (Also, Tracy calling Kenneth "Ken doll". Hee.)
4. "Do you remember the night we all danced in that open fire hydrant?" OKAY, WHY DID THEY NOT HAVE THIS SCENE?
We saw the pictures! Liz was Monica (ha, nice season 1 call, Jack) and Jenna was Pheobe... why was this potential greatness not shown?
5. "What, with Jack? Come on, he's the first guy you met here! Roll with us tonight and you will meet someone even... hotter." Ha, Liz and her faint hesitation.
6. "She texted me an hour ago and told me she was getting on the F-train." THIS. LINE. RIGHT. HERE. I nearly choked. And Liz's clubbing hair!
7. Oh, Jack and Liz are just so lovely, aren't they? What with the Night Court parallels of the two characters not getting married in the finale and the common, symbolic useage of the hat; I would normally think we're all looking into it too much but the writers on this show are smarter than everyone at G20 combined, so. Oh, and I loved how she didn't feel the need to go "I told you so" when she bailed him out, but was just glad he was okay. Aww. And he makes her laugh and they're freeze-framed and it's all rather adorable, y?
Oh, and the three-way thing; she just looks at him, aksjskdj. And I love how Claire went, "If only one of us gets to have him, it's gonna be me", and then Liz gets all narky. And I think I'll stop here but, yeah. ilthem.
Unfortunately, the ratings dipped from last week's to 7.4 million - but that's still better than last season, so it's not the end of the world.
Grey's Anatomy, 5x08, "These Ties That Bind"
1. It's the most ridiculous storyline ever (seeing ghosts multiple times, WTF) but the Denny and Izzie thing gets to me. Not when she's being all reflective and "oh, woe, what should I do, I have to let him go, please burn the sweater, blah blah blah" (I still hate Izzie Stevens, don't doubt it) but when he's just being Denny; I love that. But for once I actually agree with Ausiello. (

2. Hunt and Cristina. I like. It was hot.
3. MARK AND CALLIE. Callie is to him as Addie was to Alex: they made the guys better people. When he told Cristina to leave Callie alone I actually went, "Awww".
4. Haven't made up my mind about Sadie yet, but I liked how Cristina retreated to hang with Mark and Callie instead. THEY ARE MUCH COOLER. Although, Melissa George, your accent is everywhere to the point where it's like you're doing it deliberately and it's mildly amusing, if not grating.
But I miss Private Practice. Meh.
A big, Wentarific (idk, leave me alone, I'm tired) happy birthday to
aboutbefore, whose username still makes me flail a little when I see it. True facts. ♥
