Who else is glad that Kate Walsh's hair is back to its proper colour? Though I was digging the dark. But the sky is blue, and Addison's hair is red. It's just fact, y'all.
Yesterday I was driving behind a car that had an "Obama 08" sticker on the back window. It was kind of odd to see (I mean, considering I'm halfway across the globe). Maybe the driver was American... or just really into American politics? It amused me though.
My God, I always forget how much I love Brothers & Sisters until I finish watching an episode. (They played Missy Higgins, hurrah!) I don't download it, so the season finale airs here next week. Even though I pretty much know what happens (I'm spoiler-free, but it's fairly easy to put two and two together from flist tidbits) I'm still massively looking forward to it.
It's such a good feeling to be proud of my footy team, especially since it doesn't happen all that often. 38 points down in the third quarter and then we come back to win by 12. It just makes me grin like a maniac. (Sorry, tearcreek! *dodges flying tomatoes*)
Whilst during a footy ad break last night I switched over to Cat in a Hat (which, to be honest, looked pretty shitty) just in time to see Alec Baldwin be covered in purple goo. The amusement factor suddenly skyrocketed!
Speaking of Alec, this article on him was really fantastic and a refreshing read. "If you have four bad days in four straight years, then all four of them are depicted in the media, then yeah. The other 360 days of the year, when you're just handing out lollipops and riding unicorns through cotton-candy forests and everything's so magical, they don't report that."
OH, THE NOSTALGIA. I don't know how I started, but I've just spend the last half hour YouTubing the theme songs from my childhood shows. It's the best fun ever, seriously. Blinky Bill, Lift Off, Babar, Johnson, Noddy, Raggy Dolls, The Genie From Down Under... And I'm sad proud that I still remember all the lyrics. Like, all the lyrics, after all these years. Isn't it weird what lurks in your brain? But what is with the new Play School theme? Oh God, they're ruining my childhood show. Gah!
