(no subject)
Not only are university essays bad for my blood pressure, make me lose sleep, and are just a big waste of time - but they also cause me to sit at my desk all day and eat Doritos. So when I die of a salt-induced cardiac failure, I hope the uni is happy. (Six essays due in three weeks and then exams? Is this even legal?)
Speaking of tertiary education, I'm thinking that I want to throw the towel in and just apply to be the future Arnett-Poehler babysitter. Potential to be the BEST JOB EVER, Y/N? (Hell, I already look after sixty kids in one room, I'm sure I could do it.)
Speaking of babies (wow, this entry is just one point leading onto the next, is it not) - or at least two-and-a-half-year-olds: "She kind of talks to me like an abusive boyfriend. If I have my hair up in a ponytail she'll get super-close to me and go 'I don't like that ponytail'." Teehee, little Alice Richmond sounds just as hilarious as Mama Tina.
Die, Logies, DIE. Any award show that gives a statuette to Bindi Irwin deserves to die on the roadside like a squashed wombat. No 'fence to the womats, it's just the way it is.
I've watched the Dame Edna interview with Alec Baldwin about six times now and it still makes me giggle. (I want to upload it to YouTube because it's not there, but my DVD recorder isn't letting me record onto disc at the moment. Gah.)
I know this is old news now, but how delighted am I that "Be the change you want to see in the world" is the quote of MY TWO FAVOURITE RED-HAIRED DOCTORS. (And on that note: ADDIE + CALLIE >>> ADDIE + NAOMI. And ADDIE + ALEX >>> ADDIE + PETE.)
I've never done this before because I've always felt half-scared and half-apprehensive-about-looking-pretentious, but do me anonymously? (It could be as dirty as it sounds, you never know.)
