the documentary zeitgeist
its one of those films where you're left in complete disbelief
i mean, maybe some of the things are imaginable (considering how corrupt government is, period), but i didn't know it was THAT bad
and i don't know what to do
because there's a little bit of me that feels like if i just go around telling people to watch it, well ok maybe i'm not appearing to be an extreme supporter of it (especially in those parts when it gets all psychedelic with the spinning black hole while the male voice is talking---speaking about very real very convincing ideas/facts...)
but i guess the only tiny bit of optimism that exists in me hopes that some of the things presented aren't true
and the thing is, every individual with these doubts does not have the power or ability to find out and research every bit of information they question in the film...
so what's left?
more complete disbelief and realization of the extent of our weakness...and susceptibility to authority in a film that is about not believing in the authority that has reigned over us for centuries

and yeah i'm learning about this quite a bit after it's been out there and generating a kind of opposition...
i love the university environment
the walking back to your dorm late at night, when almost everyone is home, and passing a small group of people gathered around a table in a dimly lit area discussing with fervor some subject...one that brings laughs but that also pounds at your emotions
that affects you unexpectedly when a good friend says something that is as far as you thought you knew, unlikely from them...

oh well
i still have to see endgame
supposedly its similar but leaving out the religious first part
anyways...i need to stop thinking about this and focus on catching up with the work that i have let pile up around me in studio
i just love how a boost of motivation to work can disappear after something as simple as having a bit of food or stepping outside to walk to the restroom and noticing the irresistible rainy cloudy grey day that's surrounding you
one that you just have to sit and watch for a good half hour
