Hullo thar.
So let's see.
School is finally over for the summer, and boy am I relieved. I was SO SO SO burnt out. So far, I got a 3.7 in my Postmodernism class, so that's pretty neat.
I got a job in the library for the summer as an Accessioning assistant. I LOVE IT! It's so cool to finally be working in the field that I want to be. It's only a minimum wage position, but at least it's somewhat related to my future. I got to see this letter from a Northwest settler from 1882. 1882! I TOUCHED IT. =D I am such a dork. But yeah, I love my job. I'm also learning how to use XML, which i'm sure will come in handy at some point in my life.
Tavis and I have decided for sure to move to Pittsburgh after all is said and done in good old Washington. (Ok Dr. Seuss) I'm starting to collect letters of recommendation for grad school. I know that i'm taking a year off, but it's better to get them while the professors still remember me, ha.
We're going to an indoor water park/resort this weekend, very exciting. A nice little escape from home I suppose. w000000t.
In other, very sad news, Tavis locked poor Piper outside ALL NIGHT last night. I'm surprised he didn't run away and disown us forever.
Stupid Tavis. GOSH.
Oh and Tavis made me learn Magic. I wish I was talking about actual Magic.
