A surprise
We surprised my parents on Friday by driving there without letting them know in advance. Well, I did call my mom some 30 km before her work place just to ask if she might get out of work any earlier (and could drive with us). The (driving) weather was great and we had our skis with us (which we also used on Saturday and it was great!). Both parents were happily surprised and couldn't plan too much of anything, luckily, so we were all able to just hang out there :) .
I haven't been driving in... erm... six months (not after our wedding) but I had to drive to work today because of the damn strike. It wasn't as horrible as I thought it would be. You see, I'm not a huge car fan and whenever possible, J is driving. But I suppose I CAN do it quite alright since I was able to keep the car on the road, didn't drive too fast/slow and wasn't even afraid of it :) .
Tennis lesson today and I seem to be waiting for it more and more every week :) . I still haven't played (or whatever you call it when the other CAN actually play and the other tries to learn) together with J since last summer. He hasn't seen me progressing yet :) . Ehee..
