Call for submissions:
“Physics Need Not Apply”
Edited by Gabrielle Harbowy

Deadline: March 31, 2014.

Here on Earth, gravity isn’t just a good idea - it’s the law. But what if even the laws of physics were made to be broken…or even just suspended for a while?

If it’s your dream to experience sex in zero gravity someday, here’s your chance to write about what it might be like. And don’t stop with gravity! There’s something inherently sexy about two objects occupying the same place at the same time. What would sensation play be like if light were a solid, or a liquid?

Anything goes, as long as the world of the story makes it plausible. You can either build us a world with its own unique properties, or have a device create a temporary or permanent effect. Please do put a bit of research behind it, though - mad science is hotter when it’s got a strong foundation and a sure, steady hand.

We’re looking for sexy, character-driven stories that celebrate the erotic, while taking us outside of the bounds of what’s actually possible in our reality. Please pick only ONE rule of physics to break per story, and show its effect on life, people, and sex. All sexualities and gender expressions are welcomed. Kink is welcome too. All characters must be consenting and of legal age.

This ebook anthology is being edited by Gabrielle Harbowy for Circlet Press. Gabrielle is a writer and editrix of science fiction and fantasy, including the recently released Jacked In: Transhumanist Erotica. She co-edited the award-nominated WHEN THE HERO COMES HOME anthology series with Ed Greenwood (Dragon Moon Press), and copyedits for publishers including Pyr Books and Lambda Literary Review.
