I'm tired. There was a track meet afterschool, we had to be there at 3, it started at four. It seemed to go on forever. I had a short race. I wished I would have gone home, and napped and then come back, or done HW... but I'm bad with concentration.
I have to volunteer for key club tomorrow, so IDK how I'm going to do everything I have to do by the end of the week. meh, I should be working on my poems, I already wrote them, but now I have to explain, and pictures... actually... I have photos which go quite well with them, so basically all I have to do is explain.
I did bad on my race today, and it was home. I felt like everyone was waching me, this is why I love cross country. Running through the woods, no one can see me, or hear my heavy breathing, or the awkward way I run. I didn't push myself hard enough, I hate it when I slack. At the end I sprinted from all the saved energy, I need to push myself more.
JSA was uneventful, I wanted to talk about Marla (Ruzicka?), but nobody knows about her... but right now she's my idol. Incaseyoudidn'tknow. Marla is a girl, I think around her 20s, who made a difference in life. She went on her own to Iraq, and tried to get funding from the government to help out the innocent war victims in Iraq. She succeeded. The government listened, and funded money. She died a while ago in a bombing, but she made a difference. All I want to do in my life is help someone, do something big; make a difference.
On to random things:
A guy who works for the Falmouth Chimney Sweep left a message on our answering machine. He said our chimney needed to be sweeped again inorder to prevent fires, and to be safe. We don't have a chimney though...
In World Civ. Grace made me laugh, and I accidently dropped my gum. I picked it up, and she intentionally hit my hand, it went flying into the air, we didn't see it land. We searched for around ten minutes, and Anna, the girl who sits behind us and where the gum most likely went, joined our search, worried it was near her. We didn't find it.
At the end of class, Anna said, "OMG guys, look!" the peice of gum had landed in her binder and was attached to a page of a magazine. We laughed. I laughed at the fact it landed in her binder, Grace laughed at the way she said, "guys look!"
Yesterday... Mr. Deuchemin (WC teacher) was asking us if anyone knew what "GI" ment. I tend to say stupidrandomillogical guesses, so I said, "General Infantry." I thought no one but the peers near me(Lisa, Joey, Brooke, Grace, Mike and Anna) heard. He then asked Zach Carman, who I guess had heard me, and Zach said, "General Infantry". I guess I sounded determined when I said it....
Mr. D said no, and completely shot Zach down. Turns out it means, "Government Issue". Grace thought what I said was right, because she didn't hear him right, and exclaimed, "GOOD GUESS!" with such conviction.
These are all my pointless stories for today, Melissa came back today :-). It was so nice to see her at lunch. Today at lunch we threw things at eachother like immature children, and it was fun. I love my lunch table... even though it usually consists of only 4 ppl (including myself). Sometimes Talia joins, making it 5.
Oh... and I guess I'm the one who makes things awkward (?).
I put on lip venom today, it tingled my lips, and made them feel big, but I think they looked completely the same, just with gloss.
Sam (traubert) is a sexist, but still the coolest kid. He's so funny... he always interprets poems on Men being better than women. And today... he told us about a poem he wrote like another poem we read, "Janus". His poem was about how women go to a retreat, because they can't drive. I love my english table.
