McCain is more about a larger government than all the other repub candidates but it IS the lesser of the evil. Where the hell did you get this "low taxes for the rich thing?" Were you TOLD that in school or something. It's bullshit. Mike, c'mon man, what percentage of the population is "rich"? A very small amount. Most republicans are MIDDLE CLASS and even lower. Now, why would middle class republicans vote for a candidate that will tax THE MAJORITY more???
Oh no Mike, oh no. The dems are definitely about large government. But you fucking bet yourself that when this nation wide healthcare comes out (not to mention what he's promising to college students)...EVERYONE is going to be taxed more!!! YOU, ME, SHIN, DAVID, YOUR MOM....EVERYONE. Look at Canada now...that's where we are headed...EVERYONE is taxed 50%.
Think about it...if the dems just wanted to tax the "rich" there isn't enough money to pay for everyone. Oh no, get ready for large taxes on your paycheck, Mike.

Stupidity, having fallen for the lie that corporate tax breaks and tax breaks for the richest among us will lead to money being re-invested into the economy (it's a great theory, I wish it worked). This is the very essence of trickle-down economics, except it has been a disaster for most American citizens. In the real world those corporations take those tax breaks and move them off-shore and don't reinvest anywhere near what we were told they would invest.

Yes, I know dems are about large government, that is what I said. This is where we differ, I believe that America on the whole would prosper if we were able to give everyone health care and college education in exchange for higher taxes [whether or not these are workable in the real world is another story]. Taxes are neither good nor evil, so long as they are spent responsibly and in accordance with the will of the people.
