CC went back up to her dorm, knowing that Lilly wouldn't want company of any sort right now. She couldn't believe what had just happened! She didn't understand why James came out and just started swinging accusations like that. Something odd was going on. And all this right after Lilly had just told her that James was the only man she would ever love! She picked up her familiar, a creme and coffe colored kneazle, and petted it as she thought. "Honestly, Tiger, I don't know what came over the guy!"
She had a better time understanding Remus's actions, though not why he'd get so mean to Lilly. He was defending James, yes, but CC had thought that Remus was good friends with Lilly as well. That didn't seem to be the case. If it had been, he'd have tried to make peace between the two instead taking sides and getting so vindictive and malicious. Maybe her jibes were truer than she had thought, and maybe the boys did only want to be with each other...at least from Remus's end of things. She would have to ask Lilly some questions about that, but it could wait until later. She set her familiar down and saw to it that he had plenty of food and water, and then went over to her desk to get in some studying before class.
