Sometime after the HOLS
CeCe was enjoying being back at school. She had missed it. As much as being at home with the fam for the hols was brill, it got boring after awhile. She missed the castle and the people in it. Well... most of the people. But she wasn't going to talk about that or think about that. Ashes to ashes. Dust to dust. And all that jazz.
So why not bring in the new year with a nice stroll on the corridor with her good pal Maddox. She'd grown pretty fond of the kid the past few months. He was like a steadfast rock in her always changing world. It was a comforting feeling.
"Thanks for taking a walk with me, Mads." She grinned over at him.
