Happy Thanksgiving
Happy TG everyone!
We just had lunch with my parents and DH's stepbrother and the kids. We had a deboned, stuffed turkey that was AMAZING (and was stuffed with cornbread dressing, yum) and it was so moist and wonderful. I wanted a Turducken but I got voted out for the deboned turkey LOL. I made green beans (I *hate* green bean casserole!), garlic bread, and candied yams. My mom brought a big salad with tons of stuff in it (yum!), stuffed potatoes, and 2 pies.
Now the guys are watching football, I'm playing on the comp and the older kids & my mom are playing "Pirahna Panic". The babies are napping right now.
Today is also my anniversary- 4 yrs married.
We're having another TG meal and a party tonight with like 10 of our friends to celebrate TG/our anniversary.
We're having the leftover turkey & dressing, a ham, rice dressing, more garlic bread, this corn dish I am making, more candied yams, and I bought 2 cheesecakes. J went yesterday and picked up some beer and some of those Smirnoff drinks, and we have the bar set up for tonight.
I was feeling like CRAP this morning, I thought about cancelling with my parents so I could rest for tonight but I had started the turkey already. But I took some meds and started cleaning the house and then I was OK. I feel normal now, so thats really good. I mean I could use a nap LOL But I am OK overall. As soon as Clint gets here to get the kids and my parents go home, I think I will lay down for a little while.
Anyway, hope everyone has a nice day.
