this time tomorrow i will be a dhs/dcmst graduate. it's hard to believe, in fact i dont think i even grasp it at all. i always thought i would be so much more emotional right now. i mean i'm the type of person that got sad when it was my last november in school for crying outloud. but so far i've been fine. aside from my depression that eli and i will never be at the same school ever again, nothing's really phased me. to be honest i'm glad it's done. i need to get away from some ppl, even some of my friends (don't wry, this doesnt include anyone who might be reading this), as horrible as that may be. i just need a new start, someplace i can go where i have no reputation. where rumors about me can't spread to everyone and things i do aren't always blown out of proportion b/c in college it's no big deal. maybe the reason i'm so ok with all this is b/c the majority of my friends r going to u of m or msu. it's definitely reassuring to know that even if i make absolutely no new friends, there's always going to be someone there i can turn to.
wednesday was freakin awesome. a group of us seniors threw a picnic at lunch w/ tons of good food. i went to eli's soccer game downriver, which they won so it was a happy time (9-0 so far). his family is in town to celebrate his graduation so his two aunts and two uncles took me out to dinner while eli and his dad (who coaches) were warming up for the game. i had a lot of fun with them. i love them, they're so incredibly nice and funny. after the game i joined in the car painting party at dhs. i'm not gonna lie, that was one of the best times i've had all year (nothing compared to prom of course). yes, that's right, i enjoyed a social event. i've come a long way :-) lol i think i got about as much paint on me as i did on my car...
tonight was edsel's graduation. i felt so proud watching all my dcmsters graduate, it was like i was their mother or something lol. caleb's speech was amazing. and i'm not gonna lie, i started crying my eyes out when they played green day. it brought back a ton of memories that actually made me start to really miss high school, especially this past year. my poor handsome got really sick tho :-( it made me sad to see him so unhappy at his own graduation. which btw we celebrated our year and a half anniversary on Sunday :-D it's crazy that we're already half way through another year ♥ oh! and i gave sam, jennifer, and danya their christmas cards from junior year that i apparently forgot to give them and had discovered the cards while i was cleaning my room today. lol yea i'm on top of things...
and last but not least (altho slightly outdated), last week was my final dance recital :-( i held it together pretty well till i saw stephanie and amber's senior duet, then i lost it. i can't believe i'm no longer dancing. tap made up 14 years of my life, and now it's gone...
