What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
Lots of things, going to central Europe was a first.
Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
If I did it was entirely coincidental, and no, not consciously.
Did someone close to you give birth?
Nah, a mate's mum did though :P
Did anyone close to you die?
I don't think anyone I knew died. Probably a good thing
What countries did you visit?
Poland & Germany.
What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
I don't know. A little more concentration.

August 10th.
What was your biggest achievement(s) of the year?
Keeping a stiff upper lip when the world came crashing down.
What was your biggest failure(s)?
Festering in contingencies.
Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nah, not really.
What was the best thing you bought?
A birthday present, which I dutifully gave away.
Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
One of my housemates made me angry quite a lot. I got depressed around May, but I think that was largely due to everything piling up.
Where did most of your money go?
Booze & bourbon biscuits.
What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Nothing. I enjoy things more in retrospect anyway.

i. happier or sadder? More satisfied, happier.
ii. thinner or fatter? About the same, perhaps a little wider about the midriff.
iii. richer or poorer? Poorer within acceptable limits.
What do you wish you'd done more of?
Taking risks & listening to people for once.
What do you wish you'd done less of?
Moping.
How did you be spending Christmas?
With the folks, we had teh full set for once, which was nice.
What are you most looking forward to in 2006?
Planning my time after university more carefully and spending money in the right places.
Did you fall in love in 2005?
I thought so, but no.

See the halo? No? Well still no one-nighters, purely down to snobbery.

Black Books: series 3 - was that this year?
Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I hate very, very few people, and even then I am unsure. A couple of people have riled me up, and I am fairly sure that at least one person is Satan incarnate, but everyone else is either peachy or boring. Guess which one pertains to me.
What was the best book you read?
Reading We need to talk about Kevin but Lionel Shriver at the mo. Good thusfar.
What was your greatest musical discovery?
Bob Dylan, believe it or not.
What did you want and get?
250gig external HD.
What did you want and not get?
In hindsight, a conversation would have been good back in Feb. We can't have everthing, though, can we.

Serenity was a needlefull to a heroin addict.

I was 20. I went to a cocktail bar in Krakow.
What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Knowing at the start what I know now.

Vagrant-chic.
What kept you sane?
Dad, a close friend or two.
Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Angelina Jolie stands out, I think.
What political issue stirred you the most?
Nothing's really happened this year in politics as far as I'm concerned. Possibly David Cameron being elected leader of the Tories.

Who was the best new person you met?
Christina the German fencer.
