Inception

I finally got motivated to see Inception this evening. I was going to go yesterday but the time came and went without as much as a step towards the car, so today was much more successful on the movie-seeing front.

My thoughts? Really very good. And it has the kid from Third Rock from the Sun in it, but he's not a kid any more. Unlike in dreams, it appears that time here passes relatively quickly. The first fifteen minutes were a bit confusing, as I had no idea what the frick was going on. I think it's probably supposed to be like that, though, so I sat back in my seat and let the experience wash over me.

It's pretty good as a film because it has a bunch of good stuff for each one of your heart strings - action, intrigue, mystery and heart-rending scenes of reconciliation. I particularly liked how it was tied up at the end. I highly advise you all to see this film if you haven't already, because it's awesome. I shall contemplate acquiring it on DVD when it comes out. I might not even wait six months for it to come down in price. It's that good.

The trip to the cinema was the highlight of my weekend. Back to work tomorrow. Who knows what the week will hold? Excitement, I hope!

Ciao, all!
