Well I've never been to Spain but I kinda like the music...

I'm going to Barcelona :D. I spent aeons today looking for short city breaks on the continent and eventually found one that works so I'm headed for Spain on Sunday :). The only downside is the flight time. It's a little after nine from Gatwick... but that's a two and a half hour journey away... and then there's check in time to figure in... so I need to wake up at about half past four... in the morning... but it will be worth it to have a proper vacation.

So tomorrow's tasks now comprise finding a city guide for Barcelona and a Spanish phrasebook and getting some british pounds converted into euros :).

And I need to come up with a good birthday present for a friend. Any ideas? His birthday is the day I fly out so I need it by Friday really :S.

Baaaaaaaaaarcelonaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa... such a beautiful horizon...
