I'm going to New York City. Well, I hope I am. It's all but sorted out. I just need my friend to answer her cell phone (yes Emma, I'm looking at you) and then I can confirm that the flight times are okay and go ahead and book them. I'm desperately excited. If all goes to plan I'll be leaving in just a few weeks. And I'll be able to see Emma for the first time in two and a half years.
In other news I'm sick... again. At least it happened this week and not last week. Last week- I can't believe that finals have only been gone for that long. It seems like forever. Since I last posted I've scooted up north and attended an interview for a first year job as a doctor. It was kinda strange as they ran it like an exam although I don't think they quite expected the same standard as they did in finals. My brain was still in exam mode and I kept looking for the catch in the questions but I don't think there was one. Either that or I did very, very badly. I met a guy from London at the interview so at least I'm not the only one who's been shafted from the city. I've just submitted my job preferences so I just have to wait and see what happens now.
And other than that I've done very little other than sneeze and take sudafed and paracetamol. Oh and watch lots of Saved By The Bell. I hadn't watched it in about ten years and I'd forgotten just how wonderfully cheesy the whole thing is. It's marvellous. But I'm really in withdrawal from The Office and I need it to come back... now.
