Fic I Want: Hockey edition
1. I want the story where the Hawks or the Penguins arrange a marriage between Kane/Toews or Sid/Geno or just whatever team between their two star players or up and comers for reasons, be they public relations or stability or whatever.
2. I want the vaguely dystopian a/u where hockey players are like indentured servants for the 7 years they have to play before they can be unrestricted and hockey teams don't quite breed them but they encourage certain couples and watch the kids from birth and sports service has sort of replaced military service.
Or like combine 1 and 2.
3. OMG! So much do I want the young rookies in love story where AHL players bond during the combine/draft hoopla, share an agent, are roommates(okay this might be based a little on Seth Jones/Nathan McKinnon, but whatever, I'd totally go for original in this case.)They buddy fuck, have a friendly competition about their place in the draft etc...they of course wind up on different teams but stay friends with benes when they get a chance to see each other, train together over the off season and don't even realize they're in love for like years. (This is the one I'd actually write if I knew enough about hockey)
