The Long Goodbye

I should be enjoying Yuletide or bitching about coming in to work 3 hours early but mostly, I'm freaking the frack out about the Leverage series finale. When I first started watching Leverage, I was at a point where I was really tired of investing in shows only to get my heart broken. I wouldn't even watch the show until they'd been renewed for a second season and then I mainlined the first season in a day while on vacation. It was streaming from Netflix and at the time you got as many streaming hours as dollars a month and I just flipped over into the next month, which meant I could rewatch the series again.

I've probably watched the pilot ten times (and I'm planning on having a mini marathon tonight, if I can watch without crying). Leverage is the first show I've watched in a long time that never broke my heart, that always made me smile. The people involved are lovely and genre savvy and fan invested and fun. The creator is 'one of us' and basically, yeah, I'm gonna miss the hell out of this show.

heartbreak hotel, leverage, the long goodbye
