New School, Old School and even Older School-redux

I Spy--So I finished the 1st season of I Spy, and still am def loving it. Also I am rereading all the fanfic again, which I'll probably do after each season. Like I needed another tiny fandom *sigh*.

My babies were back last night! NCIS and NCISGAY, and both hit their strong suit very well. Spoilers

NCIS was funny and fun and everybody was pretty much super adorable. McGee made is own documentary about rocket belts,Palmer and Ducky and the squirrel, headslap! Gibbs naughty little grin that lets you see exactly why he's been married four times(and that made me want to jump him moreso than usual)Timmy and Tony fighting over the remote and it just goes on and on. Plus I love Robert Patrick and I've had a crush on Rena Sofer since her General Hospital days so I'm kind of looking forward to what's going on with them. They seem to be playing it pretty light-hearted right now which is a relief after the Ari and Frog story arcs.

I thought there was terrific chemistry between Mark Harmon and Rena Sofer and pretty much said before Gibbs comment about her hair color that if she was red-head they'd probably be engaged by now.

NCISgay--once more just proved to me that 1/2 the cast is rockin it and 1/2 is pretty much useless. In order of uselessness--Dom, Nate, Eric. And nothing against the actors but seriously that's pretty much one role split into 2 and one recurring forced into regular cast status. It's pretty much the Sam/G/Hetty show and it should be. Kenzi gives an able assist, she's snarky and funny and pretty bad ass as well as hot.

On the other hand Dom might as well not be there. Nate gives no more insight than any trained investigator could do and Eric's contribution seems to consist of pulling up video and looking afraid of Hetty. *sigh* I don't want anybody out of a job but you can see the show finding it's feet gradually and I just think the three of them are a stumbling block(pun intended).

Also on a purely shallow level, I just want to eat Chris O'Donnell up with a spoon. And lock Sam and G in a room somewhere with a big bed, handcuffs(oh so necessary) and a camera. G is going running with Sam--to Joshua Tree if necessary. Hetty knows he doesn't actually need a wing man what with the married to Sam thing and all. Also again they failed to establish Sam as a married family man. He mentions bringing a kid back from Somalia and nothing about his wife at all? Even from a non slashers pov if they keep up this way they are establishing him as the worst husband ever.

ncis, i spy, ncisla
