2008 Year-end Post
And a year comes full-circle yet again. 2008 has been a pretty good for me, with personal, professional and even financial milestones throughout the year. I would say that it had been a year where I was able to give more to myself. I was able to spend more time doing things that I like with the people I love, spending on things that I want and just doing things for myself.
It sounds a bit selfish, I guess, but I was happier compared to 2007 when I was slaving myself more over work and crying over other people.
Re-visiting my birthday wishlist, I more or less got what I wanted:
1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
Went to a fashion show, traveled by myself
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't have any? Heh. I'll probably change some things on how I handle my work. And as usual, exercise!
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
None that I know of.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
None, thankfully
5. What countries did you visit?
Singapore!
6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
A non-pro license XP
7. What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Aug 21 - My car arrived
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting promoted and getting the team lead role, finishing the Forest Adventure course (Seriously), getting Cea to transcend XP
9. What was your biggest failure?
I don't recall anything I consider a big failure. Sure, maybe I failed on some things but they weren't serious enough to get imprinted on my memory
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I was pretty healthy this year.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
my car and the pretty ping chucks
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Everyone in the family, for being so supportive and loving
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
The ebil sin bot in RO that kill steals my monsters T__T
14. Where did most of your money go?
To the Singapore trip
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
A lot of things? I was really excited about my trips this year

With my family, visiting relatives. Spent a day with my RO guildmates and 3 days with my good friends from work.

Sabriel - first book of the Old Kingdom Trilogy.

Dark Knight - it was bad for the heart, but it was really good.
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
The 2 Davids from American Idol

A PC Upgrade, a car and lovely trips.
29. Who was the best new person you met?
Paola, JC and Wes.
30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
On my 23th birthday, I got treated to lunch by my team and then spent the evening with the family. Went bowling with my friends from work the next day
31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Secret XP If I had actually mustered the guts bring my car to Makati?
32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008?
Less stuffy, more feminine. More dresses.

My sister, close friends, ranting sessions, writing and strawberries

Sometimes, you have to really say no. And to quote from Ben, Friendship gets complicated when someone crosses the line. Wahaha.

- Learn to drive and get my own car - Check!!!
- Funds for my PC Upgrade - Check!
- Love life. Wahahah. Doesn't everyone hope for this? - No comment. Haha XP
