This is the first piece of a new song I’ve written and intend to post as a video tomorrow. Being in love with another person is like having a shower of pure appreciation - Source Energy - gushing from their heart. Likewise, my heart pours this same loving energy and appreciation all over him. Even though my ego might be uncomfortable with my soul being seen for how wonderful it truly is, I accept this love and also know that the strongest connection to Source Energy is inside me, independent of anyone or anything around me.
It seems to be the most beautiful morning I’ve ever seen. There is a ripeness and freshness to the air that reminds me of the power of life, here and now. Reminds me that my soul chose to come to this time/space reality to explore and expand on joy in this wonderful world. This physical body, this personality, this lifetime, although part of me, are not me. I am infinite, swirling, joyful, loving energy, a soul with many lifetimes past and future. I am as fluid as the air that travels and caresses the Earth freely, passionately, endlessly.
There are so many things I want to do in this life. And I love the journey so far.
Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about the power of Music. Especially on a manifestation level. Seeing how the Universe is one big song, it would make sense that the flowy divine energy of Music would unlock more power than simply thinking or visualizing what you want to create. Funnily enough, some songs I’ve written have come true. Country Road for example, I wrote when I lived in Glasgow and after learning about the Findhorn Ecovillage (and their communication with nature spirits), suddenly dreaming about connecting with the land and learning how to nurture plants. This led me to WWOOFing in British Columbia and my gardening apprenticeship in southern Ontario. This was a vague idea in my head when I wrote the song, as I simply imagined walking on a country road while a golden sunset illuminates cornfields and trees….
I want to continue exploring Music and manifestation. Music has the power to soothe emotions, calm the mind, give a deeper perspective… But what if it can also connect you to Spirit (or, Source Energy, or God, or Universe, different names same meaning) emotionally and lyrically, and help you powerfully focus your creative power by writing songs that put you in a profound feeling-place emotionally and mentally of what you want to manifest? Today I’m working on web designs and doing a wee photoshoot with a very talented local photographer called Melissa Upfold. It’s such a beautiful day for it. I am also knee-deep in a book about Enlightened Millionaires.
