This would apply in the circumstance where one declares that he/she wishes for his/her 'business' not to be discussed with a particular person or known by a particular person, but thinks it is ok to know the business of said particular person.
Whilst, particular person respects deliberately excluding person's wishes, deliberately excluding person does not show the same kind of respect by partaking in particular person's business without them knowing.
But it's ok, they know now and have rectified the situation.
