Yes, I haven't posted since 2007. Four years goes by quickly.
But, I think it will be cathartic and a good way to look back on my thoughts and reassess them - whether they're good or bad.
Renewal - and accepting the past, but not dwelling in it.
Forgiveness for myself - and accepting that some things are difficult to change, but not impossible.
Honesty - and knowing that who I am, and accepting myself for who I am ALOUD is much easier than hiding who I am.
This is starting to feel familiar, and comforting. Those days when I just needed to vent, or when I just wanted to be heard. Times of struggle, times of laughter, times of desperation, times of confusion, and times of satisfaction. Life is certainly colourful.
Good times. Because if I hadn't experienced them, I wouldn't be here where I am now.
Apologies in advance to my friends on here that may have to put up with my ramblings. We've obviously been there before...
“Just as a gardener cultivates his plot, keeping it free from weeds, and growing the flowers and fruits which he requires, so may a man tend the garden of his mind, weeding out all the wrong, useless, and impure thoughts, and cultivating toward perfection the flowers and fruits of right, useful, and pure thoughts, By pursuing this process, a man sooner or later discovers that he is the master gardener of his soul, the director of his life. He also reveals, within himself, the laws of thought, and understands with ever-increasing accuracy, how the thought forces and mind elements operate in the shaping of his character, circumstances, and destiny.” - James Allen
