(no subject)
Let’s see…
Thursday was our senior trip to the park…it was fun. I called into work that night with some B.S. excuse. I said we were on our senior trip and wouldn’t be back until late. I was sick though--my allergies were crazy from being outside all day!
I went and got my nails done after school (took Katie and Baylee with me) Then we went to the game. Jeremy hit his first home run this season. I was so proud J
Friday I only stayed at school MAYBE 30 minutes…then Jeremy’s mom checked us out to go to the fish fry. We made a lot for project graduation I’m sure, but we were all wore out. I went and picked up Jeremy’s tux, then I had to go get my Pre-op for my wisdom teeth at 3:30. From there I went to work…we got off at 9.
Yesterday was prom and hectic is an understatement. For starters--I was pissed because it was freezing outside! Around 12 I went to pick up Katie and Jeremy and went to the tanning bed, picked up flowers, and went and got my hair done. My hair took an hour and a half….so it made me run behind in everything else. But I really liked it! Holly did a great job, and she didn’t charge me anything (because it’s Jeremy’s aunt) so I was happy! Me and Katelyn came back to my house and got me ready. I don’t know what I would’ve done if she hadn’t have been here! I let her drive my car back to town because I was too rushed and nervous…plus I was in my dress and heels. She did good…she just gets a little nervous…we switched drivers before we got to her house though, so her mom wouldn’t freak.
Our pictures were at 3:55 and at 3:30 I met Kara up at work and we showed off for everyone. Took some pictures with Rachel and Carrie…then went and got our Supertone pictures made. Ater that we went to Hart County to see my grandma…she was sick and couldn’t come down. She was surprised to see us…but it made her happy. J We ate a snack there because Jeremy insisted he would die if he didn’t have food soon.
Around 5:30 we went to Jeremy’s grandma’s and most of his family was there waiting on us. His great-grandparents, grandparents from Tennessee, Holly, Baylee, Zack, Jeremy’s mom, and some other lady. Took lots of pictures there.
We ate out at Quinn’s church at 7..we got there about 6:30 and everyone was already there. I guess there were about 10 or so couples.
That was fun--the food was good and we made some pretty cute pictures of all the seniors L I accidently left my flowers there and didn’t realize it till we got to the school. But then Hunter said he grabbed them even though he didn’t know whose they were! I was so relieved.
We almost froze to death standing outside the school. Mom was snapping pictures right and left as well as everyone else. They let us in in a hurry because it was raining a bit. The inside was beautiful I thought. All white and stuff. It was different, but the juniors did a pretty good job. We danced so much. Had a blast. Every song that came on we danced -lol. I didn’t want to leave because I knew it was our last prom L So sad. Natalie and Quinn won King and Queen. I was happy for them. Kate was announcing when we walked through and screwed up our lineup --it was so embarrassing. She got my name and Latisha’s mixed up…then noticed it and tried to ix it after Latisha had already went out there. It was bad. lol. I had run out there and send her back in front or everyone. It was funny though….
For thje most part, everything went good…I finally got Jeremy to dance with me…so that was fun. I wore him out though that’s for sure.
We left there pretty late…went to Jeremy’s house and changed then headed to Scott’s. He was not even ready so we went and picked up Eric for him. Talk about drunk. Whoa. I mena I had to roll the windows down -haha. We were all going to go out to Heather’s, but she decided not to have her party. We meet Trent and Chrissy in the middle of the road, so there were three trucks in the road and people just standing around talking. I’m sure it was a sight at 2:30 am lol. I hadn’t seen Chrissy forever and didn’t recognize her… but I was glad to see her once I realized who it was. She had colored her hair and stuff…pluss it was a tidbit dark.
We ended up at Scott’s house. We sat around out there, Scott and Eric played cards and me and Jeremy laid around.. Jeremy got sick and I was bored, so we just went back to his house. I guess it was about 4 then. We went to sleep pretty fast and didn’t wake up until about 8 this morning. His mom fixed us breakfast about 10, then I came home. Jeremy had to work today, the poor thing. We were exhausted last night.
I came home and took a shower then went to bed until five…and Im thinking seriously about going there again!
Overall it was a pretty good night. Definitely very memorable. Everyone looked so pretty…all dressed up! J
I’m glad it’s over though…I mean I was stressed! Now I just have to get past this wisdom teeth thing and I’ll be good to go. They come out Tuesday and Ill have to stay overnight. So scared. I go tomorrow to get Lab tests ran. I have to work tomorrow night and then Im off for the rest of the week.
Just so you all know-- It is exactly 1 month from today until the last day of school! If you are younger than me…then it’s not that big of a deal--but I’m freaking out! Graduation is so close! Jeremy’s grandma measure him for his suit today! I need to start looking for some class night shoes. I just love my dress J
In other notes I have basically given up on certain things. I have come to realize that things are obviously the way they are supposed to be and I should stop terrorizing them. Im just going to let things be and whatever happens…well, it happens. Everything will run it’s course if I give it time and quit pushing. Being happy right now is more important than making myself miserable over something that probably won’t ever be there.
Well I do believe this is enough for today. I’ll update later one since Im off school and work for the next week!
