ATTN: MUSIC LOVERS
So, I've been listening to some really ace music lately and would really love my flist's answers to these questions (the why is optional on all of them, but I'd like to know if you care to type it out):
1. If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life, what would it be?
2. What are some artists you always go back to (from your childhood, love/hate relationship, for certain moods, etc --not neccessarily stuff you listen to all the time)?
3. Favorite 'old' band(s)?
4. Newest obsession?
5. Can anyone rec me some female vocalists with loud/powerful/catchy music? I seem to have a dearth of these.

1. Pink Floyd - The Wall
2. Savage Garden (reminds me of home and my childhood -mother's side), Blue Oyster Cult (reminds me of my childhood -dad's side), Cherry Poppin' Daddies (I have to be in the right mindset for swing), Three Days Grace (I'm either infatuated with them or too embarrassed by their lyrics -which are rather banal), Santana (I have to be able to concentrate on that fucking brilliant guitar)
3. The Pogues (lovelovelove), Metallica, occasionally The Doors, The Dubliners and King Crimson
