Complete subject change, anyone?
So I had this really interesting conversation with M. over the holiday about circumcision. This is mostly because he’s uncut and I mentioned how much I prefer that over circumcised dicks, which he was frankly amazed at. Turns out he’s been made fun of by other guys all his life and had the distinct impression from the ‘net that women didn’t like uncut guys. I had no idea that this was such an issue for him! He felt really insecure about himself because of that, and he even feels isolated by the porn industry because such a high percentage of male porn actors have cut cocks. I just do not understand the stigma. I told him that all of the Londoners I know (hell, all of the Europeans I know) who like dicks prefer them uncut, and he just replied that he knew he there was a reason he loved England. I don’t know, I just found it interesting. And kind of stupid.
Anyway, I know that I don’t talk about it much, but I LOVE good Batman/Robin slash. And I’m talking Bruce/Dick, none of that other shit. I don’t care if it is canon, Bruce is the only Bat for me, same goes with Dick being Robin -screw all those other guys.
I bring this up because I reread an absolutely perfect fic of them recently, and I have to share. With Gladness and Singleness of Heart by
harriet_spy , rated R, J’onn tells the League about some of Bruce’s thoughts and it goes from there. Holy fucking shit, you guys. I cried at the end. I cried. Just because it’s so perfect and the ending is phrased to rip out your fucking spine, it fits so well. An achingly perfect rendition of Dick, and just, God, it’s amazing. READ IT.
Also, sorry I haven't been around, guys, school is really kicking my ass. :( Hopefully I'll have time to be more active on lj soon!
