Okay.. I really really don't want to do my workout video.

So.. I think I'm going to get my stopwatch out and go up and down the stairs as much as I can and see how long "that" is.

Thats not such a crazy idea right? Its still doing something rather than nothing. Plus I think I'll use the weights a bit as well, maybe do more crunches, situps, pushups, etc.

I've been feeling this way a lot lately. .wanting to do more random things rather than doing a 30minute video over and over. I guess its good I'm doing something though.

Oh, warning.. I think today is going to be quite a rambly day. I expect to make one more post before the sun sets.

Update: Okay wow.. Holy SHIT. I did like 5 minutes just going up and down our stairs. I was worn out barely after ONE MINUTE! I feel like I'm gonna pass out.. but I feel wonderful. I know 5 minutes really isn't anything but, I went up and down our stairs like 18-20 times (each way) so in some kind of comparison.. isn't that exactly the same as going up 18-20 flights of stairs? Shit.. I used to barely be able to go up 2-3 stories of stairs. Man I'm worn out. But I kept going for 5 minutes just to make sure I did something.

Also, this is a really hard exercise for me because I have arthiritus in my knee - I injured it in 2000 and it is horrible horrible pain... basically I have no space/cartalidge inbetween my leg bones so when I use that leg a lot the bones rub really hard together and it hurts like hell. I can't cycle or do most knee related work outs. So I'm proud!

So, New Goal:
Be able to do 5 minutes of going up and down the stairs without having a heart attack!!
