Well I haven't updated in a while. My last entry was even written a about a week before it was posted. For some reason I feel that this is going to be one of those rambling entries, but as I always say, "sometimes you do". So last night or even all of yesterday was crazy, I played a show with Jon Black. We didn't practice until about 1:30 yesterday afternoon and only did so for about an hour, needless to say that was not nearly enough to learn some songs I had never played. Micah and Horne were awesome as always, and I couldn't hear Jon and myself, but I feel it was at least a good time. So basically things turned out as I promised, "I don't know how the music will be but Jon and I will have a blast", and I would even like to think that other people enjoyed themselves as well. Two claps go out to all that had a part in the night. John Thompson might even get a double two claps. Maybe the coach's clap, you know, the two claps and the point. Also big thanks to all that came out , especially those traveling a distance, the Tech crew, Daniel, Steverson, Walter, Laura, and Niki. After the show we went down to the Masquerade in the ATL, Waving at Strangers had a show last night. Sadly we didn't make it in time to catch any of the music, but we did get to hang out with the guys and pick up a CD, which I endorse. 8 claps go out to them (8 claps/4 band members = 2 claps per member). So tonight looks to consist of more music, Billy Cerveny is at Eddie's Attic and I think I might go. Billy is the man, plays good music, and he just understands. So I'm now watching football. I'm not a die-hard football fan, but I really like doing nothing on Saturdays and for some reason it is totally acceptable to do nothing if you say you are watching football. I also really like Eli Manning, don't know why but ole boy can just play, no pun intended on that one. Well I think I should go take cover, I think things just hit the fan and I don't want to be left out in the open.
