Ft McClellan
In the mid 1980's I was stationed at Ft. McClellan, Al. I even owned a house there, near one of the training ranges of all places, for a while until the base closed while we were in Germany and we couldn't sell it or rent it.
So why do I bring this up? Well it seems that one of the Outbreak players who does a flash comic for Outbreak on occasion was looking for images of ruined buildings, specifically military bases and police or fire stations to use as backdrops. I have good memories of that place. It's sad to see her in her disarray.
