Made my travel plans for Florida. I've been promising my mom that I'd visit before the end of the year since I wouldn't make it for Christmas. Did my research today and found out that I can get tickets to be there over Christmas for under $300. Seemed like a no-brainer. The best I could really hope to do for some random non-holiday week trip would be mid $200s. So $289 to see the fam (including my sister, brother-in-law, and niece, and both of my grandparents) at Christmas instead of saving $50 and only really seeing Mom and Laura - easy decision.
Guess I really have to start thinking about Christmas now instead of just pretending it doesn't exist. Le crap.
