I may have forgotten to mention this, but I absolutely love House, Chuck, and Psych. Unfortunately, Psych is in its mid-season hiatus. However, House and Chuck have new episodes! And even though I don't have a TV in my dorm room, I have mad skillz when it comes to getting the episodes before they're posted to the network websites. Good thing, too, because FOX has this ridiculous policy of waiting EIGHT FREAKING DAYS before posting new episodes.
Also, I am a hardcore slasher. If this offends you, you know where the door is.
House and Cuddy are both ancient and wise. They understand that a relationship between them would go the way of the Stacy fiasco and hurt both of them in the end. Wilson, in his heart of hearts, realizes this. The (b)romance means he wants House to be happy, though. He just doesn't get yet that House is perfectly happy with HIM.
I had my breath held when the apartment blew up. Someone should write an AU for that scene where the dream isn't really a dream.
P.S. Cameron and Chase need to get married and have babies already.
Chuck/Casey fans (myself included) are responsible for the deafening of our neighbors Monday night with fangirl squealing. We apologize. Blame the writers for giving us fanservice. Also, I trust Jill about as much as I would have trusted Adolf Hitler. She's totally up to no good. And I would bet a handful of quarters that Bryce is somehow involved, because we have no idea what went on between those two back at Stanford.
Whew. Now that I've got that out of my system, I can get on to the real stuff.
COLLEGE SUCKS.
More accurately, it sucks time. As in, my NaNo writing time. So I'm falling steadily behind while trying to write three essays in the span of a week. I can throw you a bone in the form of the next character profile. And then...I might have to do an excerpt next time, because the last character doesn't have a finished profile. Anyway, here it is.
Part III: Absinthe
Absinthe has an unhealthy fascination with trains, camping, and water sports. Summer vacations have been spent at her cabin learning to water ski and drive a speedboat. Along with Gin, Absinthe leads the yearly Boundary Waters expeditions that have strengthened the team’s bond. She was the first to get her gun permit and spends a couple of hours each weekend with Tequila at the shooting range. Absinthe is training for a position as a flight attendant while working in the local train yards.
Absinthe has one of the two bedrooms on the main floor. Most of the space is taken up by the antique brass bed inherited from her parents’ house. Three sleeping bags and two tents are stored underneath. A couple different camera tripods and a number of cameras lie on the dresser along with a framed photo of the team from their high school graduation. A computer dominates the desk space.
