I'm so silly
I'm ready early for the Sigma Nu formal, so what am I doing? That's right, I'm updating my livejournal :) I'm so geeked out for tonight. I can't wait to see how awesome Jeremy looks...suits are so nice. This is so crazy. His inviting me to the formal is how things all got started. I'm amazed that things took off as fast as they did. I mean, he invites me to his formal based on a long conversation one evening, and then three weeks later we're in this committed relationship. Pretty cool.
I've decided I'm a very low maintenance girl. The thought of curling my hair or doing some such thing this evening made me nauseous. That's, like, an hour of work. No siree Bob. My hair is straight and parted off to the side. It took me about five minutes :) I kind of agonized over what dress to wear. I hate the whole dress thing. The problem is, I strive for modesty. So I know other girls are going to look absolutely fabulous in dresses I would be too timid to wear. I tried on a gorgeous dress like that over the summer. Kate was like, WOW, when she saw me in it. I immediately placed my hands over my chest and declared I didn't have the guts for it. Meh, Jeremy isn't with me for my looks, so I'm not going to obsess about it.
I'm really excited about going home next week. I know my parents are really happy about it, and a little smothering is always welcome :) I just can't believe that it's almost Thanksgiving already. Where the crap are my college years going??? At least the term will end soon. Yar.
On a random note, star to Katelyn for being the awesomest person ever. She put a very sweet message on my Facebook wall. People like her make the world go round ;) Have an awesome weekend, my pretties.
