It actually shipped
So I'm finally getting myself a successor to my circa 2007 (but still bad ass since it was so monstrously over-specked at launch) Nokia E90.
I pre-ordered via Dell.com. The original delivery date was December 12th, which I knew was a made up date as this was in October and there's no way Dell would know when Nokia was gonna really give this thing up.
However, I was just notified that my N900 ship date has moved UP!!! It's on the truck now and will be here in Washington DC on Wednesday! I can hardly believe it since I fully expected Dell to push back and back on the delivery date as Nokia delayed the devices release to 3rd party re-sellers.
This is especially shocking since the forums are full of people who ordered directly from Nokia who still have no ship date on the device. Even the flagship stores in NY and Chicago have none in stock for pre-order customers!
Somebody pinch me!
