Fear your god: Apophis!
I don't know how many of you have been following the tale of Apophis, the supposedly killer asteroid that is so far is the only somewhat seriously dangerous Near Earth Object found.

But our fears can at least for now be put to rest since newly available data indicate the probability of an Earth encounter on April 13, 2036 for Apophis has dropped from one-in-45,000 to about four-in-a million.

Which is great since we haven't been able to contact the Asgard and the Tok'ra have no ships available to help us.
We're safe for now, but FOR HOW LONG???
