Yes, it's photoshopped. I upped the contrast and downed the brightness on myself, and put a thick black stroke as outline.
I then messed with a few filters to get the background all swooshy and drawn-looking. Then made it blue.
The full size picture, of me stirring a giant bowl of made rice, in a walk-in refridgerator, looks pretty sweet with the outline. I'm not pleased with how it looks when shrunken down, I'll probably re-do it sometime.
