Originally uploaded by CDaisyM. We went cherry picking at Smolak Farms today and brought home two large containers of tart fruit. The plan is to bake something tasty with them (perhaps cherry-rhubarb crisp). But, first i needed to photograph them. The light in the kitchen wasn't great, so I moved a basket to the window. As soon as I moved to grab the camera, Calliope was up on the chair to get a closer look.
I like this picture much better than the one I had planned to take!
