Good morning.

This last weekend was pretty annoying (again). On Friday I realized that I misplaced my savings bank book. Without the book itself I am unable to get my money. Great. So I spent the last two days with searching this damn thing. I finally found it this morning which is a good thing but you can probably imagine how relaxing this weekend was (not).

Beside that I decided that something must change. Since I changed jobs I have much more free time than I had before and the job itself is much less stressful, but I think I have to plan my free time better. I want to do quite a lot of things and there is never enough time for it.

As I cannot get myself into a regularly writing flow I decided finally to jump into a roleplay again. I found a new LOTR/Hobbit one. Slowly the smooth flow is coming back at least in my native language. So I will start reading stuff in English to get the feeling for the language back. It will make things easier (hopefully).

Normally I do my daily dog walks around the area I live. I decided to change that on Fridays to Sundays as I have enough time then. Good for both, me and the dog, to see something different than the usual four trees. I now take the car to drive to another place at the lake. There is nature reserve and it is pretty quiet out there. I have pictures which I will share with you as soon as I will sit at a properly working laptop.

At least this is a start with the changes I need in my life to get a better work-life-balance.

Beside that we booked our holidays for this year:
10 days Italy in an area where dogs a most welcome with its own doggy beach. This is quite a rare thing in Italy as they are not so much into dogs like we are over here. The hotel offers a very good service with an all-in offer. The place itself is very small - so hopefully not piles and piles of tourists. So we will try it.

End of August/beginning of September we will stay for two weeks in Cornwall. No dog there of course. We will fly to Gatwick and pick up our car to drive down to Cornwall directly. After Scotland I am looking forward to drive on the left side again. A must-see-thing on our list will be Tintagel of course.

I hope you are all doing well!

C.D. Ward.
