I was surprised that Rambo was as un-bad as it was. but then, I had set my standards really low.... ;-)
Dad thought it was "just long enough, it didn't have time to get boring. But it was way too bloody." My reaction: "The blood and flying body parts was the best of it all...that, and the fact that Rambo wasn't more in it." *eg* I did look away at the most graphic scenes, at least those that included children because no.
The minute I saw those pigs, I knew they'd eat someone! *eg*
I would have liked to have seen more owies on the good guys. The Colonel guy pissed me off, but I loved Schoolboy. He and Julie's character, Sarah, should have hooked up. *nodnod*
I didn't ask Dad what he thought of Julie Benz...I love her, she's so pretty. :-) Something we did agree on, though, was that Sly's getting too old to run around in the jungle like that. *nodnod* (he was born almost a year and a half before Dad)
Something that really annoyed me was the placement of the Swedish subtitles, at least in the scenes where there was already English subtitles. Instead of having them above the English, thus covering over half the screen, they should have put the Swedish ones on top of the English ones, but with a black background blocking the English out.
cerridwene, I'll see you tonight! Should I bring something (apart from my own drinks)?
