cerridwene, I stand corrected. There were interesting books at the book sale. :-D
I bought 6 books for 234 SEK = approx. $38! I don't know if they're any good, but I don't care. They're books! In English! YAY! For those of you who take an interest in books, here's a list:
The Camel Club by David Baldacci (there are two more books in the series - The Collectors and Stone Cold, which I guess I'll have to try to get my hands on if I like this one.)
The Innocent by Harlan Coben (it looks like an interesting thriller with plot twists)
Naked Prey by John Sandford (there are NINETEEN more books in the Prey series! And this isn't the first, it's the 13th. Figures. *rolls eyes*
One for my Baby by Tony Parsons (author of Man and Boy. At least I have the movie. *g*)
The Mermaids Singing by Val McDermid (first book in a series of five about Tony Hill & Carol Jordan. Yes, Wire in the Blood is one of them. I hope I like this one! I'm also interested in checking out her books about PI Kate Brannigan, who happens to be a lesbian)
Whiteout by Ken Follett (Ebola!)
At the annual meeting for the Sports Association for People with Disabilities I was elected secretary for the meeting! One of our mayors was the chairperson. :-) After the meeting I got a bouquet of tulips for my "service", and since Dad quit the board this year he too got a bouquet that he gave to me. :-D He also gave me his lottery wins, a pair of socks, a key chain and a bookmark. Not too glamorous, but still fun. :-)
I received the name change form today, and I'll probably fill them out tomorrow. Tomorrow I'm also planning on making screengrabs for the meme I intend to post soon, hopefully tomorrow as well. But now I need to get ready for bed, because I'm really tired.
