Is this thing on?

I don't know why I can't seem to post regularly to LJ again...I could blame health issues (being told by your nephrologist that "you have no bacteria...but there are signs of heart failure" can seriously mess with your head), and being busy with family and friends, but all it boils down to is laziness.

I'll try to tell y'all what I've done this last month, but with my memory being what it is, it wouldn't surprise me if I forget most of it. I've read Deathly Hallows, and liked it. I've also seen Order of the Phoenix, and while it's not my favorite of the movies, I still liked it. The theater manager wrote to me in the newsletter, telling me to not forget the day and time for OotP and to not fall asleep (I've fallen asleep twice, once during a midnight screening of PotC: AWE (for 10 seconds or so) and once during the Die Hard marahon - how anyone can stay awake during movie 2 is beyond me)...well, I didn't. *g*

The PDOL festival was this weekend. I only went on Thursday, which was fine with me. I got to see Sofia and Lovisa sing in the Pite Ålstars choir and the Euskefeurat reunion, so I'm happy (except about my caster wheel being broken when I ran over one of those square stones on the sidewalk, but it'äs been fixed).

Another thing I'm happy about is that joe1970 finally got his package! YAY! Hope Springs eternal indeed. I'm currently trying to write a fic based on one of his ideas (see teaser page here), and came to thinking about all the fic I must owe people by now! No one seems to have defriended me while I was away, but if you could remind me of what exactly I owe you, I'll see what I can do, okay?

My connection's been crap these last two days, and I don't know what to tell my ISP when they tell me to look for the primary phone outlet. I could always tell them that I'm a wheelchair user with joint pain who can't really be on all fours checking outlets; it could work, right?

Today I need to go to Piteå-Tidningen to pick up my painting from the exhibition, and then I might spend some time with Roachie. She was accepted into uni and returned the doglet to the breeder (*sobs*), so she has a lot of stuff to do.

To quote Rasputia in Norbit, "How you doin'?" *g*

writing, movies, health stuff, family, roachie, harry potter
