К стыду своему, лишь пару дней назад, зайдя на сайт своих любимцев “The Legendary Shack Shakers”, узнал, что у их лидера «Полковника» J.D.Wilkes’a есть сайд-проект - трио, состоящее собственно из «Полковника», его жены и басиста. Трио исполняет, в отличие от более жесткого репертуара основного проекта, вкуснейшую смесь кантри и блюграсс - мужской и женский вокал, губная гармоника, банджо и бас в чрезвычайно приятном соотношении. К сожалению, дебютный альбом в лучшем качестве найден не был, но на безрыбье, как говорится… В общем, наслаждайтесь! Под катом - зажигательные мелодии и ритмы американской эстрады =))

”Often I find that most new artists mining the tropes of "traditional" or "Americana" music-and they are legion-leave me cold and disinterested. Too often it sounds like a batch of wanky college kids turning an ironic wink-and-nudge at a historic art form, sans reverence. The Dirt Daubers are a notable exception. This eponymous debut is the most fun I've had with a new release in some time.
