Four Days to Go
Perhaps the only time I felt Christmas again was in the Renewal. When I left the community--my idea of Christmas has been thwarted.
Today, I see Christmas as mere parties, gift-giving, new clothes, 13th month pays, bonuses, vacations, reunions, drunkenness and all other stuff that directly mirror the said holidays.
It's four days to go before Christmas, but I just couldn't find the spirit in it anymore. Don't get me wrong, I still look forward to this season, but I just do not look at it the way I used to see it.
All I know is that, if I have the opportunity to give or lend a hand--it's Christmas to me.
Anyway, I wish that this coming Christmas... it will be something meaningful for all the people who matter most to me and to the people who chose to distance from me as well.
