Hello everyone,
Well, its been a while since I last posted, so I guess I should update...
Last weekend I went up to New England to see friends and family. Friday I took the Chinatown bus up to Boston and stayed the night with my Berliner friend Steven. We went to the North End for dinner and met up with Joanna and Neal too. It was so nice to catch up with my old friends and I can't hardly wait until everyone gets back to NY this fall and it won't be so difficult to hang out together. Anyways, so after dinner and drinks and a crazy ice cream filled pastry then Steven and I drove back to his place and got some German Beers and stayed up all night watching Munich and chit-chatting. He's such a sweet heart! And he even sang me a song and played the piano for me because I kept complimenting on how beautiful his family's mini-grand piano was. I think I'm gonna have to ask him to sing at our wedding or something because he is SO good! Anyways, then on saturday I went down to Rhode Island to visit with my Uncle and the baby cousins. It was so nice to hang out with family and have a low-key weekend away from the city. I went to a movie with my aunt on Sat. night and then we had a picnic on sunday before my uncle and I went to the bar to watch the World Cup Final match. And that game was SCANDALOUS - and if you didn't get to see it then you should be ashamed of yourself!! And I asked my uncle for permission to use my baby cousin, Graham, in our wedding as the ring bearer because he is jsut such a cutie and I can't wait to see him in a mini tuxedo. Awww... And my aunt has agreed to do our wedding photography as well. It is pretty awsome because she is an award winning photographer with a very unique and beautiful eye for some great shots and I know that with her doing it that all our pics are gonna turn out wonderfully! Not to mention it'll save us A LOT of money because wedding photography is darn expensive!
Anyhow, and since I've been back in the city I've jsut been working lots and lots of hours. Oh yeah, and good news on the job/school front! First job - Richard has been really impressed with my work and he is extending my contract into this fall! I'm so happy that I can keep working for him and it is really great to know that I have a well-paying and interesting job to come back to this fall. A big improvement over the stupid clerical stuff I usually get stuck doing! Not to mention that it looks great on my resume to have worked for him and have such high acclaim in his eyes. Yay! And then on the school front, I have more good news. I realized last week that I am able to get a DOUBLE MAJOR!! All I needed to do was fix my schedule up a bit and take a few more history classes and then I can not only graduate early, but also graduate with two majors! Woo hoo!!! So yeah, things have been pretty good over here and I'm actually getting really excited to dive into my last semester at NYU. Sounds like its gonna be the best semester yet!
Well, wish me luck guys and I'll keep posting updates as the news comes at me. Oh yeah, and jsut in case Will doesn't update his own LJ I just wanted to let everyone know that he's hitting land this weekend and he'll be in Thailand for a few days. He is really looking forward to going to the amazing temple they have there and all the yummy food. Anyways, I'm sure he'll come online himself and update you on all the details - but HE'S ALMOST HOME!!! WOO HOO!!! :-D
