updates ahoy!
It's Kazie again. Wow, I sure am posting a lot in my capacity as assistant mod this week, huh? Anyway! Here are some things that I believe need to be addressed, and updates regarding them. Just for everyone's information. ♥
1. JOURNALS
So we've agreed that journals ("cellphones") activate on August 1. But there are some concerns. First, networking. Who can view your character's entry/entries? Perhaps every post should indicate if it's viewable to all, or to a certain group of people, or to a specific character. Second, instant messaging. Should we have something like that, too? Third, other features. Suggestions on what else the cellphones could do? Music, movies, etc?
2. CONSISTENCIES
So all Japanese characters should have their names written with the last name first, i.e. Kinomoto Sakura. The same with the Chinese ones, i.e. Li Syaoran. Also those with mixed heritage but with the Asian name as the last name, i.e. Hiiragizawa Eriol. So... what about Fei Wong, for example? Do we stick with Fei Wong Reed since Reed is an English name (more or less) or do we twirl it all around and put his name as Reed Fei Wong?
3. BIRTHDAYS
Not much of a problem here, we just need to actually put up a list. So for those characters with predetermined birthdays, please use those. If your character doesn't have a birthday, make one up, please?
4. TIMELINE
I will be working on this very soon. The question is, what year are we going to use as a starting point? 2000? I read somewhere that CCS was deemed to start in 1998 because that was when it was aired, and since Movie 2 more or less takes place two years after, it'll be 2000. *shrugs* Also. I thought of adding something a little creative to the years. For example, if we do start with 2000, we can also call it Year of the Nothing, then 2001 will be Year of the (insert Sakura Card here) or something.
5. CHARACTER LIMIT
I'm still waiting for Matthias' input on this. But, in case it will be approved, those of us with already two characters are eyeing the following people:
starlight_19 - Mihara Chiharu
sanggre_habagat - Matsumoto Maki
eepitiuum - Li Yelan
6. VOICEMAIL/EMAIL POST IN CHARACTER JOURNALS
Michi, you're a genius! Haha. Well, following that example, why don't we all set up a voicemail and email post in each of our character journals? It'll help if they're sticky posts, too.
7. CROSSOVER CHARACTERS THAT ARE DEAD IN THE CCS VERSE
So this game allows crossover characters. But what if they're dead in the CCS 'verse? Like Tsubasa!Nadeshiko and Tsubasa!Clow? Will we allow them to be played?
8. TAGS
Are there any characters with no tags yet? Places we need additional tags for? Please let us know.
