ah yes, time goes on
Time is going by fast, but the world around me seems to drift on very slowly.
Called JR for the first time since June. I miss my old buddy. He is extremely busy with college applications and such. I only was on the phone with him for a couple of minutes before he said he needed to get back to work on his report for English. Poor guy, he might not run cross country like I do, but he works just as hard in everything else.
I've been trying to get a hold of Marshall. Now there is someone I truly miss with all of my heart. (sigh) It has been weeks since I've heard his voice. I have a feeling he is at a drama tourney this weekend because he hasn't answered any of my text messages. Maybe I will snd him a letter this week. Why not?
Max's car was hit last night. Niko was in a drunken rage after fighting with Jay and Max was trying to mediate but Niko floored Jay's car into the back of Max's camaro. :( The damage is going to be about $2000. Niko's parents will pay out of pocket because 1) They have the money and 2) They don't want the insurance company to know Niko was drinking. There was no police report filed but there weretons of witnesses and Max took plenty of pictures. The 67 Camaro is his most prized material possession, he is pretty crestfallen.
I've been dreaming again. Dreaming of wonderful things this time. Not those horrible, terrifying dreams I had earlier in the summer that involve me being chased by rapists and tortured by people without faces. This dreams are of me walking and it is with someone who really likes me because they keep saying so. Then at the end of the dream I believe they kiss me because I get that most wonderful feeling that I'm floating on air and my chest becomes tight. I love dreams.
I got to see our friends new puppy today! What a sweety it is! It is a pug and it is all black! His name is Zorro and he is so tiny! Oh I love the little babe.
