Updating on life
It has been more than 7 years since I have updated this journal/blog. I have completed my bachelor's in Criminal Justice, and this upcoming semester I will complete my bachelor's in Psychology. Both degrees, I completed my studies at the University of Missouri-Kansas City in Kansas City, Mo. I have been accepted into a Master's program in Psychology at Avila University in Kansas City, Mo.
I have a fiancé named Venessa and we had a baby together named Julian. He is adorable and cute, Venessa also has a 14 year old named Daniel, he is weird, but alright. Julian is just over a year old now. It is weird having a kid because I was definitely on the "fuck them kids" train and did not plan on having one at all. But, here we are, but it has been a trip so far. Venessa and I are engaged, but no wedding dates or plans as of now.
I left the Kansas Department of Corrections for the Federal Bureau of Prisons at USP Leavenworth. I am currently a Correctional Officer, but I plan on becoming a drug treatment specialist or case manager here in the future. Possibly planning on transferring to a different facility in either Massachusetts or Connecticut. There is any BOP facilities in the State of Rhode Island. I am also debating about transferring to SeaTac or Arizona. I do not know, it is all up in the air at this time.
I am still living in Leavenworth, KS right now. I have lived in Kansas City, KS and Shawnee, KS since I last updated this thing.
