Shoot-a-week #20: Out in the Fog

Dec 20, 2010 14:14

One of the things I enjoy about working with models is the fact that it almost has to be a collaborative effort. Or, at least, it's so much better when it is collaboration, rather than just one person with all the ideas.

For this shoot, the model and I had been throwing around some half-formed images, with umbrellas and trench coats, open fields and balloons, and while we also had some thoughts for a studio-type shoot, we just kept getting drawn to the outdoor stuff. In more proof of my mother's assertion that I'm not always smart enough to come in out of the rain, Niqi and I went out to Camp Adair for a shoot last week. Yes, in Oregon. In December.
