Ugh I hate driving in the snow. At least with the highway they plow it really well, especially when referenced to normal roads. Which is good considering my 1 hour drive to work each way now.
Got into an accident last night driving home from work. It wasn't on the highway thankfully...was turning onto my street around a curve and even though I was going slow, I realized as I was turning that my car was still going forward...ran into a sort of median in the road. Someone apparently had earlier because the sign that was on it was knocked into the street (looking back on the situation...I'm -pretty- sure it wasn't me that knocked it off at least). No real damage was done though, I did get kinda stuck up there but luckily (and surprisingly) two very helpful guys a little younger than me saw me stuck and pulled me out using their car and a tow rope.
The only damage I saw was some plastic protector under my car came out...it's apparently just to protect the underside of my car in case I get into an accident like I did. My mom got me a remote car starter for christmas and when she goes to get it installed they can put it back on then. More damage was done to myself though, mainly my psyche or whatever. That's some scary stuff losing control of your car like that...if I was on the highway when it happened I could have died. And for what? Some stupid freakin job. Ugh. I dunno I just really don't taking risks like this. I lead a very safe and protected life for the most part...excitement and danger I try to avoid.
